Telecom Namibia says it is experiencing a nationwide disruption affecting mobile voice and data services.
The telecommunications operator said technical teams are investigating the issue and working to restore services.
“Our technical teams are actively investigating the issue and working with urgency to restore services as quickly as possible,” the company said.
The latest outage comes weeks after Telecom Namibia reported disruptions linked to failures on international connectivity routes, which resulted in slower internet speeds and intermittent access to services.
The company previously said the outage placed pressure on alternative network routes, affecting mobile data and browsing services for some customers.
Telecom Namibia said mitigation measures implemented at the time included traffic rerouting, upgrading and reconfiguring key equipment, and strengthening capacity at major network nodes.
