Mobile Telecommunications Limited (MTC) has become a Huawei Enterprise Partner, giving the company access to a wider range of business technology products and services.
The new partnership will allow MTC to offer Huawei’s enterprise solutions, including cloud services, digital infrastructure, networking systems and business technology platforms to companies and institutions in Namibia.
MTC Chief Brand, Marketing, Communications and Sustainability Officer Tim Ekandjo said the partnership strengthens the company’s ability to meet the growing technology needs of businesses.
“This new development gives MTC access to Huawei’s enterprise products and solutions, helping us provide better technology services to businesses and institutions across Namibia,” he said.
Ekandjo said the partnership will help MTC support key sectors of the economy, including government, mining, oil and gas, financial services and other businesses.
He added that the partnership increases MTC’s ability to design, install and manage technology solutions for enterprise customers.
According to MTC, the agreement combines the company’s knowledge of the Namibian market with Huawei’s global technology expertise.
The company said the partnership will help speed up digital transformation efforts and support business growth across the country.
MTC said the move forms part of its strategy to become a trusted technology partner for businesses while contributing to Namibia’s long-term economic development.
